Impact Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for critically ill newborns in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment. As a NICU RN, you will play a key role in delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

As a NICU RN, you will play a key role in delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and evidence-based practices.
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns in the NICU environment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate and support parents and families throughout the infant’s care journey.
- Delegate and coordinate care with nursing and ancillary staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate family-centered care.
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) - Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience
- Active Louisiana RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
- Specialty certification - Preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Sound judgment in high-acuity clinical situations
- Commitment to compassionate, family-centered neonatal care
